WHAT'S HAPPENING WEDNESDAYS: March 5th-11th

AGO FIRST THURSDAYS
Date: March 6th
Time: 7-11:30PM
Where: Art Gallery of Ontario, 317 Dundas St.
What: This event marks the opening of two contemporary art exhibitions: Elevated: Contemporary Art in the AGO Tower and Bruce Nauman: Words on Paper. In addition to musical guests, talks and art-making there will be food sponsored by the Mexican Tourism Board. Tacos! Ceviche! Churros!

BAG HEADS: WORKS BY SHEA CHANGE OPENING RECEPTION
Date: March 7th
Time: 7-11PM
Where: Huntclub, 709 College St. W.
What: This show involves masks made of paper bags. The Facebook event says it best, “It is an investigation into how people present themselves vs. who they really are: it is a pursuit for finding what makes us human and what makes us un-human in a contemporary time.” Show runs March 7th to March 21st.

SEEDY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Date: March 8th and 9th
Where: Evergreen Brickworks, 550 Bayview Ave

HOT WHEELS® TRACK BUILDER CHALLENGE

Date: March 8th-16th
Where: Art Gallery of Ontario, 317 Dundas Street
What: Witness an event that will have those old bearded curators turning over in their graves! Follow the scent of childhood nostalgia towards hot wheels in the Art Gallery of Ontario!  Warning: this is a March break event so take that for what it is.
